Ksana graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science from Saint Mary of-the-Woods College with Major in Accounting.  She went on to earn a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Maryland.  Ksana worked in public accounting in Glenwood Springs for eight years before moving into the governmental/nonprofit sector, spending five years with Aspen Valley Hospital.  During her tenure at the hospital she implemented numerous changes to financial policies which increased accuracy and efficiency and enhanced internal controls.

With her background in accounting and nonprofits, Mountain Valley Developmental Services was a natural fit and Ksana took on the role of CFO for the organization in the summer of 2015.

A self-proclaimed geek, Ksana enjoys talking accounting with anyone who will listen.  Her philosophy is that financial information should be easily understood by all affected parties.  To that end she has continues to put into effect changes to the financial management and reporting systems at Mountain Valley Developmental Services to make the data more transparent to non-financial users.

Ksana is a CPA, holds a CGMA designation through the AICPA and a CHFP designation through the HFMA.  She serves on a number of accounting and financial boards, including as president of the local chapter of the Colorado Society of CPAs.
