E-Verification

Mountain Valley Developmental Services uses the e-verify process to compare information from an employee’s I-9 form to the Social Security Administration (SSA) and, if necessary, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). E-verification will be completed on all newly hired employees at Mountain Valley. A final offer of employment is dependent upon verification of your authorization to work in the United States.

Background Screening

Mountain Valley Developmental Services requires all applicants to conduct a pre-employment background investigation in conjunction with the application for employment. Candidates will be asked to consent prior to an offer of employment. Failure to consent to a background check will disqualify the candidate from employment. A candidate who fails to provide the necessary information or who provides false or misleading information may be disqualified from further consideration. Later discovery of false or misleading information related to the background check may subject the employee to disciplinary action, up to and including termination. Mountain Valley complies with all applicable federal and state laws governing background screening including Fair Credit Reporting Act and Adverse Action Procedures.
