You can also purchase many of these items and more on our Amazon Wish List! Mountain Valley Developmental Services appreciates everyone who donates to us through Amazon. Please note, however, we are not told who the gift is from unless you choose to include a ‘gift note.’ Please include your name as well as an email address and/or mailing address. If you do, we can send you a thank you and donation receipt. We are VERY appreciative!

Our Wish List

In addition to cash donations, Mountain Valley Developmental Services is always in need of all sorts of donations. We welcome gifts of all kinds. From toilet paper and soap, to books and clothing, Mountain Valley participants appreciate your help! Support of this nature is considered a gift in-kind and is eligible for tax deductions under charitable giving as defined by the IRS.

Paper products: toilet paper, tissues and paper towels, small Dixie cups

Kitchen supplies: aluminum foil, saran wrap, Tupper-ware, zip lock bags in sandwich and one-gallon size, new kitchen towels, wash cloths, and pot holders

Cleaning supplies: liquid hand soap, all-purpose cleaners, laundry detergent, dishwasher soap, disinfectant wipes

Personal hygiene items for men and women: deodorant, hair and body wash, razors, shaving cream, battery spin toothbrushes, toothpaste

Health: skiing, swimming or rec center passes, bicycles, home exercise equipment

Arts and crafts items: simple kits, art paint, brushes, journals, art paper, colored pencils

Leisure: Newer simple board games appropriate for adults, books, puzzles and playing cards, footballs, basketballs, basketball hoops, yard games, yard furniture in good condition

Transportation: bus tickets, gas cards

Office supplies: pens, staples, post it notes, scotch tape, masking tape, permanent markers, copier paper

Medical supplies: nitrile or latex gloves, disposable 1oz med cups, oral sponge swabs, q tips, cotton balls

Gift cards: grocery and retail stores like Target, Wal-Mart, City Market, gift cards for movies, bowling, nail treatments, spa, and tickets to sporting events, concerts or plays
